How do you use the 3pt. over it? Doesn't the 4pt. take over the lower right receptacle?

I have the bolt-in type. so the 4pt lap belt is under the 3pt at the 2 bolts. so, they don't cross.

Default Gotcha. No idea which way to go at this point. My instructor at M-O

was complaining about not being able to stay in his seat and looking for a place to hold on. He suggested that my next mod be harnesses. I really had no plans to do this until he mentioned that, but it got me thinking. I'm just using the stock 3pt. and my airbags are probably disabled (light's on anyway) so I ought to think about safety a little more. Wife saw the news about another weekend warrior dying at Toledo speedway last weekend, which is helping the momentum.....

Default The SCROTH 4pt are a good start if you aren't interested/ready to go full seats/bar/6pt harnesses.

I loved how mine held me in place when I had them.

Default If you want something to hold you (and insturctor) into the seat, I'd suggest CGLocks. I have a pair

and they work great. My only complaint is that the back of the clip will scratch your B-pillar when not in use. So, I put the soft side of Velro on the sharp edge.

They keep the lap belt from giving up slack. so, when you pull the lap belt tight, it stays there. but, the shoulder belt is still free to let you move about. it solves half of the moving around, which I noticed a huge difference of how tired I was after each day or the full 2-day event just using them. and, by adding the harness (loose), that helped solve the top half movement.

Default I was ready to buy one until I found the "seat back, lock the belt, seat forward" trick.

CG-lock is a viable alternative, though.

Same, just saying this is only belt I would use without a bar or harness bar.
