i have heard many of people talk about debadging the car. arent you proud of the car you own. why do you want to take off the emblems. just curious.

The car has great clean lines, the silver plastic badges look cheesy, and cluttered. IMHO

I'm keeping mine on, I think it looks good both ways...as long as the rings are left on!

Default Well....

when people debadge, they usually leave the Audi rings on, so it's not like you are hiding the fact you own an Audi... The four rings alone are enough to tell the world... " HEY...I own an Audi and I'm Damn proud of it!". People just take off the A4 and 1.8T, or 2.8 badges. It gives the trunk line a clean look.

To each his own I guess. I just took mine off after debating it for a long time. I'm glad I did. And if down the road I want'em back on... I'll just order new ones from my dealer... no biggie.

one other thing... it's kind of a subtle sign to identify yourself to other Audi enthusiasts.

Default So it can be confused with a Mazda Protege

Personally I hate it. You don't see any De-badged ferraris or porsches. It's okay to debadge the rear (except the rings), but a debaged grill on a A4 makes the car look ugly. I hate seeing an A4 without the rings in the front.

Default I just saw an improperly rebadged car!

I just saw an A4 where the A4 was on the right above the quattro badge and the 2.8 was on the left. What's with that?

Default Its advertising. I know what I drive and...

I dont care if someone cant tell its an Audi without the front rings. I like the look either way, but the car (especially the rear) is designed for its curves, not badges.
