Default US and Euro car airbags are quite often different

The US cars generally have bigger airbags, trying to make up for the fact that many US Driver dont wear seat belts. Euro cars have smaller airbags.

Why not just have big for all you say. Well, big is not always better, especailly when its exploding right in front of your face. I let you work out the rest.

Personally, I dont understand people that dont wear seatbelts.

Default iirc the US bags are sized for a 200 lb. driver...

while the euro bags are sized for a 160 lb. driver. thats why our bags kill children! our goverment at work. :{(

Default No, he's right. In German it really is called an Airbag. We have no other word for it.

Like what?

Luftsack?
Luftkissen? (that's hydrofoil)
Luftbeutel?
