...It's your car and if you like it than that's good enough. This guy at CEC thought I was crazy to buy my REs in 17", but I'm perfectly happy with 'em. Personally, I think wings are for planes, but it's just my opinion and my opinion (and the opinions of others) are second to YOUR opinion. If you do want my opinion, it is a bit radical as wings go and would maybe look more subtle if it were painted.
BTW, what's an H&R 200 hp chip? H&R is a spring manufacturer, no?

I mean yeah I must admit the wheel looks smaller than many other 17" wheels for instance those that have spokes which go all the way to the lip...but some of us buy them not only for looks but for performance, it's a pretty light wheel only like 21~22 lbs...very strong...elegant...and it looks fine on a lowered car.
I think most of those guys at CEC at least at the factory are like, "yo yo holmes I gosta axe you a qestin why you gettin' does rimz in 17" when 18" would be so phat bling bling" that's the impression I got when I picked up my...ghasp 17" RE's ;-) Somtimes I do wish I got the 18" but every time I hit some pothole and the car just keeps on sailin' I remember why I didn't go the extra inch.

...I forget the guy's name but he said, and I quote, "Why pay that much money for an extra inch (16 to 17). I've never put anything less than 18s on an A4" I told him, "There's a first time for everything."
P.S. He no longer works there. ;-)
