valentineone.com? I saw a used one selling for $420 today, and they sell for $399 brand new one from valentineone.com!
Why on earth would someone pay MORE for a used radar detector than they would pay by buying it direct?
I have heard that Valentine won't ship detectors to places where their product is illegal, but COME ON!!! Who doesn't know someone who could order it for them and ship it?
Is there some kind of waiting list for these detectors that someone would pay more for one through auction?
I'm seriously condidering picking a V1 up, and was wondering if everyone thought it would be a worthwhile purchase. Has it DEFINITELY saved you from tickets? Is it accurate?

People can set up multiple accounts for themselves, and bid on their own auctions. Or they will have their friends inflate the bidding and just not make them pay if they win.
The price to sell anything on eBay is so miniscule that people can afford to post things up multiple times until they push the bidding high enough to where they're satisfied.
You can get a deal on eBay SOMETIMES, but you usually are better off doing your homework and buying things somewhere else online. Except for really unique or rare or unique items. That's where eBay really shines.
