why does my door lock not lock from inside the car? it makes a pneumatic sound.
also my remotes don't do what they should outside the car, i have to put the key in the door and twist to close up or open up windows. i went thru the cycle of reprogramming them i believe.

that's not what you said in your original post...
You stated that it doesn't work with the remotes either. In that case it's probably the pump. If you vag the car and scan the codes, you'll see a code for run time exceeded on the central locking pump, which will confirm the problem.

no the up/down windows holding lock or unlock doesn't work. horn doesn't beep.
it does seem like a door is open but i've closed all the doors and trunk and hood. The only other thing is hood sensor but i haven't checked it yet. Can't be the vacuum pump if it's needed to lock it, since she was locked about 40 mins ago.
