Default Borla is the best bang-for-the-buck. All other exhausts are $1,200+ (S4s anyway). For $1,200...

...I can get a Borla which is equal or at least has 90% the performance of the other exhausts and have money leftover for an ECU upgrade. With an ECU upgrade and Borla, I guarantee you'll smoke the $1,200 to $2,000 exhaust system.

The Borla sounds good and fits perfectly (at least mine did). True, the premium exhausts have a better finish and have more aesthetically pleasing exhaust tips but I personally don't care. Also, some premium exhausts have been having leak problems and you need to fix'em with "paste".

The bottom line is, no one can argue that the Borla exhaust is not a good value. In fact, it's the best value of anything I've seen for the S4 so far.

Just my $0.02. =)

Default I passed on the Borla and went for APR

Heard too much negative press I suppose. Too many people having problems. That, and I wanted a quite exhaust. I spent 2x as much, but Im really happy with the product.

Default same experience here w/ an A4.....

my Borla Borla (2.25") fit perfecrly, and not one issue to "fix"

20,000+ miles not one regret!

and how Much More performance does an additional .25" (2.5") system offer???

1-2 hp??? not a great return for an additional $400+!!

Borla $450+ ship "Best Bang for the Buck"

Default Yeah...but I notice that after driving in stop-n-go traffic that sound isn't so

apparent. Eric at SPP has the Remus dual 90mm tips for $449? Should just fit on to the existing piping. I'm thinking of going this way...

I guess it sounds different on the S4. It's relatively quiet and has a deep mellow tone to me.

Default I bought it recently and love it... no problems whatsoever

Besides the sandblaster noise, that is.
