Why is it everything "Audi" so damn difficult to replace/upgrade?!

Some cars you can't replace the radios at all!
Some of the new high end cars are using fiber connections, and even honda had a few cars that if you "replaced" the radio, you still had to mount the old radio under the seat since part of the factory security system was embedded. Then you have the GM cars which are intergrated with the Onstar system.
