Since Hoppen (who headed up Audi's US race program in the 1980's) is one of, if not THE top Audi tuner and MTM (the chip which Hoppen supplies) has a VERY close relationship with Audi AG (simmilar to AMG and Mercedes) they probably feel that people will be willing to pay a premium for their chip. I was...the dealer installed my MTM chip 2 weeks ago and I was very pleased. I wasn't particularly surprised since I had been in several chipped cars, including a Hoppen/MTM one, so I knew what to expect.

Get Garrett chip and Stebro exhaust for $1100. It matches perf of the MTM chip& exhaust at 1/2 the price.These 2 outperform all the others I've tested.
