The air gets sucked out through the liner aiding the cooling of the IC

better plastic...j/k has preformed vents in the liner, as opposed to cut holes in an A4 liner

Default they are so cheap! Not worth my time to cut the a4 ones!
The s4 ones are pretty, fit well, and the design, I would imagine as they made it, is good enough to keep crap out of the engine well enough...

and at $32 each, not worth it for me to attempt to cut my own...
