Will 15 inch OEM wheels and tires look silly on 1.8 with sports suspension?

I'll be giving them back soon. I still love my stock 15s and big balloon tires. I can go over potholes going like 70 with no worries.. nothing better than that! =)

I upgraded my suspension from non-sport to sport and kept the 15" wheels and all-season tires for 2 years, before finally going to 16" wheels and performance tires. (Will put snows on the 15".)
IMO, the non-sport suspension sucks. The "sport" suspension is really just a good, all-purpose suspension and should have been standard on the car. The 15" wheels and tires worked quite well with it. Of course, they're not as good as specialized summer and winter tires, but they're a decent compromise for people like me.
If you upgrade to 16" or 17" wheels and performance (Z-rated) tires, you might be advised to get a real sport suspension -- i.e., an aftermarket set-up. I'm starting to feel that now. (Of course, one mod leads to another!) But I probably won't upgrade the suspension.
As for looks, well, I was never crazy about the OEM 15" wheels. But they look better with the sport suspension than with the non-sport, IMO. Not silly at all: the sport suspension is not that much of a drop, and the smaller gap is helpful even with the 15" wheels.
