Default Will 245/45/17 tires fit?

I am replacing the tires on my 17" Moda R3 wheel and have an opportunity to get a good deal on a set of Kuhmo 245/45/R17 tires but am wondering if they will fit without problems? Has anyone else used this wide of tire without rub problems or clearance issues?

Default not without spacers, the rears will rub on the upper control arms

go with 235s and be done... roll the fenders also

Default Can you clarify a little?

What does it mean to roll the fenders? I found some spacer at 7mm and 12mm, will either of these work to avoid rubbing. Or am I just better off finding a 225 like stock?

It wont work. Buy 235's and roll you fenders or 225's and do nothing.

I believe that size is off anyways, pretty sure it should be 245/40 17 if you want a 245 tire

Default I run Kumho 235/45R17's on the Celebration rims(RS4 style) (ET38 iirc)....

and stock ride height without rubbing or rolling the fenders. They are very tight though, no way 245's would clear suspension without spacers.

Default 235/40/17 is the next widest that's the same circumference as 225/45

I"m running 235/40's on my 17x8 Borbet wheels with no issues with H&R Race springs

Default thats the closest but the next step up from 225/45/17 would be 255/40/17

for an exact speedo match.
