WIll full size passenger mirror fit the gimp motor?

WIll full size passenger mirror fit the gimp motor?
I've searched the archives but could not find a definitive answer. I know that MY 99.0 had a full size mirror housing that is a direct swap for the smaller 96-98.5 passenger mirror housings. But would just the mirror glass from either a 99.0 or a 99.5+ fit the motor of a 96-98.5 motor?

No. It's the 96-98.5 small glass, 99 full size, glass or 99.5-01 glass. They changed the shape again in 99.5.
1999 is the only year of passenger side housing that will match the 96-98.5 driver's side perfectly.
