Default what kind of gas treatment?

are we talking about the stuff you pour in the tank? Some people claim that it damaged their O2 sensors. I run some sort of additive in every tank without any problems.

Not hurt, but not help either. Techron or even better, RedLine S1.

Default What is it that you're trying to accomplish?

Most over the counter gas additives aren't really strong enough to do proper fuel system/injector cleaning. They can be used as preventative care though.

Default Thought I had gotten bad gas, didn't know if it would help

cars out of commission right now, wanted to know if it hurt any. Guess not, was just my lack of maintenance..didn't realize I had a high maintenance car

Oh, I see. Yeah, gas additive shouldn't hurt anything, but it won't fix your problems either.
