Will lowering my car effect my trips to the mountain/overall ride?

I am considering lowering my car but I don't want to destroy how comfortably it rides. Thus, I don't want to ruin my trips to the mountain. Should I lower my car? If so, with what?

If you are going in areas of deep snow, you may not want to lower your car. If you are going to go on dry mountain roads (ie canyons), lowering your car will add a tremendous amount of fun. Of course, your ride will become firmer. I can't say whether or not you will find that uncomfortable. Try to take a ride people's cars with different suspensions to see how they feel.

You can set both ride height and dampening. If you enjoy a more comfortable ride, just set the dampening to zero and set the ride height near the top of the recommended range. The car will ride close to stock sport in comfort on the small bumps, yet look a few cm's lower. On more spirited drives, the progressive springs will kick in and you will feel a definite increase in firmness without the harshness.
