will there be a fault code after I take out my ecu and put it back in? to get it chipped.

Yes, it will cause a low voltage fault code.

got chipped at neaudi ecu was out for 1hr no code set on my 97 1.8tqmscc

Default What is that?

I will be sending my ECU out next for couple days to get chipped. So will I have to do some extra stuff when I get it back to cleat this?

Default You have to use a Vag-Com or Vag-tool to clear the code.

Some APR chips also come with an option to clear fault codes.
