i am wondering if i got xenon ecodes and used them temporarily til i got my HID kit. my common sense says that could probably work but i dont know much about headlights

would i be better off just gettin non xenon ecodes and then later installed hid kit?

from my understanding and what ive searched i have the impression if you buy xenon ecodes there is a place to mount your ballast while the non xenon you have to dremel and there is no mounting spot, or if theres something else thats special with the xenon housings?

bought the xenon e-codes for my halogen setup. haven't installed them yet, but will in the very near future. will eventually upgrade to xenons... so, yes, you can do it without any problems.

i just bought halogen ecodes, since saving a couple hundred dollars is definitely worth a little bit of dremeling.

so are they basically the same, cept the xenons are minus the hassel (dremeling)?

i think they also have an auto-leveling system? otherwise, i don't know of any other differences between them and the halogen ecodes. but in my opinion, unless you NEED to get xenon ecodes (i.e. your car came with factory xenons), why not just pay less and get halogen ecodes?
