windshield wipers stay on when i shut the car off!!

my windshield wipers stay on when i shut the ignition off in my 99.5 A4. What's the deal. any suggestions.

if you know where the relay is; check it out. Most likely its going to be underneath the steering column. Under warranty?

hahahaa .. sorry man. that's just weird. =)

sounds like you have an odd ball short somewhere. does it keep going if you flip the wipers off?

when i shut them off they go off but the ignition has no effect on whether they shut off or not
