Default Winter Tire BT: Michelin Pilot Alpine PA2 for a winter tire?

Looking at winter tires at those the Michelin X-Ice or the Michelin Alpine PA3. Can anyone recommend one of these over the other or any other brands and models.

<center><img src="http://www.dunloptires.com/dunlop/graphics/Tires/full/726_snow_spwinterm3_3qt.jpg"></center><p>I did some research on tirerack and these excelled in quite a few categories they seem to be similar to the 3Ds. Have you heard of anyone using these?

Default Yeah so far that is the case for me.

They both have their advantages and disadvantages according to tirerack.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&url=%2Ftires%2Fsurveyresults%2Fsurveyd isplay.jsp%3Ftype%3DW%26amp%3BVT%3DC">Tirerack</a></li></ul>
