Nokian Hakka2 here as well, best winter tire ever owned or driven on.

Default Yes, compared to Blizzak WS50, Revo1, WS60.. the hakka2 is WAY better on dry pavement.

Hakka2s wear well too :-)

knowing him, he's probably comparing them to max performance summer tires

I'm looking for 205/55/16 and having a little trouble with both.

Default Yeah your are right

I was going to get them before Christmas but now I'm here. Finally hit me how all seasons are ftmfl, did a little sliding into a neighbors yard today. Never thought they were that bad until now. So I figure its time to get some snows.

Default Hankook icebears have done me well

do great on snow, and are nice and quiet on dry pavement, handle fine

Default I've got 3D's on my '04 A4 this winter for the first time. Incredible tire.

Competent on the front range where the snow is easy to manage. They have excelled in the mountains, even with all the heavy snow.

I still have Conti Extremes on my '98 A4, decent in snow, and much better than any other all season I've used.

Can't beat a true winter tire like the 3D, however.
