winter tire treadwear indicators?
Took off the Blizzak MZ-01's and I can't see/feel the treadwear indicator bars as I do with my Potenza's. I see the arrows but no indicator bars. Do winter tires not have treadwear bars and instead are judged by tread thickness? If so, how do I know when my Blizzak's are done - is there a recommended tread depth? TIA.

A good rule of thumb is half of the original tread.
Some tires have a cellular compound on the outer half of the tread, which grips snow and ice very well. This rule also applies to other snow tires, since the diminished tread depth limits the tires ability to grab or bite snow.
