Is it wise to add stage 3 w/o upgrading brakes and suspension?

i used to think so....
but then i actually learned a few things. you'll WANT to stop that power that you have, and you'll WANT to be able to turn and have your car handle for a damn. dont be cheap. if you're going to do an upgrade, do suspension, then do brakes, then do a larger turbo. i can gaurantee you that after you do each one of those mods, you will be glad that you did them in the order you did.

if you want a Darwin Award maybe...
brakes and suspension should be pre-requisites for big turbo kits.
What use is all that power if you can't control it? You need handling and braking capability more than power.

But how often does someone with a turbo upgrade go
running around town slamming on the brakes at 120-130 mph to make a 90 deg turn.
Now if he is planning on racing on the track I would say do the brakes first or while he doese the turbo upgrade. But for normal driving the stock brakes are not all that bad. But I guess it takes a smart person to actually know the limits of the car.

based on the lack of self control that I know most forum members have...
often.
it's a safety precaution, and well worth the cost at that...I'm not saying that everyone needs to go out and buy $2000 stoptechs, but the A8/TT upgrade at the least. The stock brakes are pretty inadequate for anything more than stock HP imo.
most people drive like idiots, and like you said, a person needs to know the limits of their car. While most people would like to think they know the limits, I'd venture to say that a few really do.
