Is it wise to add stage 3 w/o upgrading brakes and suspension?

I would say you really need a suspension and brakes would be helpful...
the thing is big turbo means more speed. You will carry more speed around daily, thus requiring you to be able to turn and stop better.
With stock brakes, im careful not to overwork them, i don't get myself into situations where i will have to brake hard repeatedly...but i still toasted my front rotors.
If you don't upgrade the rest of the system you will have a German Mustang with AWD...something which is all engine...and that gets boring fast.
I think the most enjoyable thing is powering out of corners hard, on ramps, etc...the sort of stuff which really shines when you've upgraded the car.

Coming from an S3 owner you need to do suspension eventually but..
I had my S3 installed first with basically stock sport set-up. It's not like the S3 is so powerful that it's too hard to handle, it's not that powerful. If you take it to the canyons and spend any track time you gotta upgrade the suspension at least but if you are a regular driver wanting more power around town you should be fine. I really reconmend upgrading the suspension but not needed right away. Since i don't take it to the track the stock brakes seem good enough for now. But if you ever want to get a good solid launch a clutch should be on your wish list.
