Woohoo, I'm sold on Pennzoil Platinum oil after this stellar report.

Here are the previous two oil reports. The fuel issue was bad fuel injector o-rings.

Whats your reccomendation for a motor such aas mine, Built 1.8t with 3076r yada yada...
I was running 0w-40 M1
Just swapped to 5w40 M1 TDT
I plan on going back to 0W-40 tho
Oh and winter is comming in the Northeast, but i will have another oil change before then easy

Lighter than 5w-40 is a good move in winter. Your engine is "built" but what's your driving cycle?
If it's short trips and not really hammering it much, you don't need the extra visc as much as one guy's modded A4 in Florida driven hard...that would benefit from a thicker oil and might even need to go beyond a 5w-40. If you make short trips in winter and just hammer it a little, I think you could even use an oil like Nate's thin 30. The flow of a thinner oil is much more beneficial than a heavy oil's "protection".
A UOA tells more, speculation has it's place in selecting oil to try and tweaking it after UOA. Look at you oil temps as a starting point. Toss some oil in the freezer and see what you think of TDT in the cold, it's not a great oil in cold at all.
I'd probally go with German Syntec if you drive moderately in cold temps. M1 0w-40 is pretty good too, but not much different over all in visc than PP 5w-30. 10w-30 synth is actually pretty thin in cold, thinner than 5w-40. Remember, not all 5w-oils are the same. A 5w-20 meets a much thinner spec than 5w-40, but both tested at the same temp, -25f, iirc. So, yeah, 10w-30 can be thinner than 5w-40 in cold.
As far as operating temps, that light 30 weight oil is a heavy 40 at just a few degrees cooler than the +212f the label visc is measured at. At +180f, you can HAMMER it all you want, as long as the engine is evenly warmed...you are driving on a nearly 50 weight oil.
