After reading some horror stories about insurance companies I was losing sleep about my accident two weeks ago. Well I got the word this weekend that my cheque was ready. The company paid me exactly what I paid for the car minus only my deductible. I was almost 20 when I picked up the car (no reckless driving was NOT the cause of the accident) and spent the last year thinking I was driving too much car for my age.
I've always admired the logic of many of my friends who drive beaterz simply so they don't have to worry about them until they finish school and buy what they really want. There's a certain sense of freedom to be had parking your car and not worrying that some jerk is going to key it or worse.

But after driving a Jetta, Golf, Civic I realized I was hooked and would be unable to downgrade... ever. I just hope the TSE wants to cooperate

The car I'm picking up is a 2001 1.8T with Quattro, Sport Package, Xenons, and celebration. I got it in Santorin which I've yet to see on a CLEAN A4 in person so I'm anxious to finally see the colour.
