Default Looks great, but $3500, holy crap. I just did the floor in my new garage for less than $200...

I am a cheap DIY'er, I can rarely justify paying someone else WAY more than it costs to do it myself.

I used the Rustoleum Epoxy Shield Garage Floor paint. I'll try to post some pics soon.

Default Had epoxy originally. It didn't withstand the heat from hot tires and peeled up quickly. This...

stuff (polyaspartic polyurea) withstands 350 degrees F, and you can get up to 250 colors of vinyl chips. Yeah, it's pricey, but worth it.

1900 bucks for the floor. A crew ground the floor using diamond-tipped grinders, filled, sealed, and then painted. Took about 7 hours.

Default As with any paint, I guess it is all about the prep. I'm sure yours will last way longer than mine.

I will only be here less than 5 years probably, so I wasn't prepared to make a serious investment. I did try to prep the floor as well as I could though, so hopefully it holds up OK for a while.

Default Now all you need is one of those in there and you're all set.

Yeah but the U.S. version comes with those ugly bumpers. Better stick with the A4;-)

Default Painters are surprisingly expensive. A friend of mine was quoted $7500 for 4 or 5 rooms

I told him I'd be willing to do it with a q-tip for that much money

Default That is what I call prep work. Do it once, do it right!

But I'm still pissed at the way they treated Juan.
