Default Here's what I know...

the screen is 10", reads well, and fills the center console. It was originally designed for the home but has a 12V DC power input so it was an easy convert to the car.

Here's what i hope... I will succesfully make a mount and hinge that comes out between the top of the radio and the bottom of the button bar.

Now keep in mind this is for long distance drives and meant to be removable for use in the house or wherever. Also the main purpose is for navigation. The biggest problem is going to be shifter interference, but with a short shifter and reduced shifting because of long distances I think I will manage.
