Would Any Avant owners trade for a Sedan, in a hypothetical world....

I've never understood the appeal of sedans. Wagons cost little more, can carry cargo no sedan can, and perform at least as well. I believe that sedans exist only because of a concern with fashion and looks that I just don't understand. (No offense to sedan owners, just my opinion.)

...to each their own, as far as looks go.
You are right, wagons have it all over sedans when it comes to cargo space....I've just always had sedans or coupes instead of wagons and hatchbacks.
Also, whats the weight difference? Isn't the Avant a bit heavier?

The unitility of it is awesome, I can carry around tons of crap, performance is right there with the sedan, and the looks are amazing. The A4 Avant has to be the best looking wagon on the market right now.
And most people think the fact that I'm 21 and drive a "wagon" is awesome... they love it even more after they've ridden in it with me!
And no problems what so ever.

they drive exactly the same as the sedans, some might think that they actually handle better. To me, the sedan feels lower, and more neutral. Of course, that is comparing my 96 to my 98.5, which is not really fair, because the 98.5 has the overly boosted steering, and presumeably slightly taller non sport springs. The '96 seems to sit just a little lower than the 98.5, I can feel the difference driving down the road.
