Would having a failed post cat O2 sensor cause my gas mileage to suc or anything else to my engine ?

I believe that the pre-cat sensors are what control fuel/air ratio. Still should get it fixed though

Default Start by replacing the primary O2 and coolant temp sensor

If you've got near 100K miles, a new primary O2 is probably a good idea, even if the existing one isn't causing issues. The car should run smoother and cleaner with a new primary O2.
