would i get better value to sell my stock ecu or x-chip equiped

ecu from my 01? I have both, still want the x-chip in the end so if i sold the package would have to send my stock out to get done again... but just wondering what guys are getting these days and which I'd do better on? thx for ideas. cheers.

And to sell the ECU...you'll only gain $200. I agree with Tristan. Chipped ECU's aren't without their share of issues. Remember, your original ECU was built in a clean room by a robot. The chipped ECU was handled by a man (or woman) in an office somewhere. I would leave the unmolested ECU in the trunk with some tools, in the unfortunate event that the chipped ECU fails.
And by the way, a large number of chip failures seem to occur in very cold weather...in other words, at the most inconvenient time possible, it will die, literally leaving you out in the cold. $200 is cheap insurance.
