Would like to test suspension setups...can you help?

I am in the process of trying to decide on a suspension upgrade for a 98.5 A4 1.8T Front-trak non-sport. Reading all the archives for the past two weeks was more confusing than enlightening. It seems that it’s really going to come down to driving them. I don’t want to do this upgrade twice, but there’s no reason for me to just throw money at coilovers because "they’re the best" when something cheaper may satisfy my needs. I’ve been looking forever in the classifieds for a FWD OEM sport suspension....no dice. I can go to the dealer to drive a OEM sport, but I’m looking for generous offers from folks who might be willing to let me take their car for a spin. I’m especially interested in investigating the seemingly paradoxical reported "softer" ride of the coilover setup over a spring/shock combo.
I would be interested in test driving any A4 in the Chicago area with the following setups:
H&R Sport + Bilstein Sport
Eibach Pro-Kit + Bilstein Sport
Sachs/Boge aftermarket not OEM
H&R Coilovers
Can anyone help?
