Default Wow, how do you people with two different stick-shift cars do it??

I test drove a GSR today (much shorter clutch), and it took quite a while just to get used to it... and even after 10 mins or so, I still didn't have a real good feel of the clutch... then after the test drive, I get back into my A4 and it took me at least 10 mins to get used to the longer throw clutch again (was over-revving a lot!). So how do you people with two or more manual cars adjust to this?! Do you go through this clutch adjustment thing each time you switch cars?!

I have a crappy truck that I don't drive much anymore and the clutch kinda freaks me out every time I get into it.

If you have multiple stick shift cars, then you know when you get behind the wheel what that car will drive like, for example I don't drive around curves at 60mph in my 4Runner. The clutch in my A4, 4Runner and Maxima are all different, but if you drive them often enough, you don't seem to notice. However, I have had stints where I didn't drive the Maxima for weeks, when I drive it again it seems wierd, not just the clutch but the seat postion, brakes, steering. After a couple of blocks it fits like an old glove.

I guess the human brain has the ability to have different "presets," sometimes it take a bit to get into them, but once they are created, they don't go away.

Know how you feel. Drive the parents' Accord once in awhile. I get totally screwed up.

Default Feel the same way when I drive the wife's Civic.

The clutch is different, and the engine is a lot touchier at low revs than my 1.8T. After a block or two, however, it's not that bad.
