the wrx is fast but not my type....i know my 2.8 tip will never be fast. therefore, 1.5 years from now....modified s4 it is!

don't you think? Dont get me wrong I love my A4 and the little details and touches that makes it special and still even surprises me today BUT the WRX (aside from questionable look) is a nice ride with impressive perf., agressive handling/looks and really strong aftermarket potential. personally, i like having balance of my car with speed, road handling, interior, etc. One without the others isn't enough for me. I'll give up straight line speed for Quattro and style. After all, I don't have a small *whhoooohhooo* to feel the need to prove how fast my car is against others on the road. Now, if they **** me off and start following me because they feel they need to still prove something to me, then I have no problem with late braking and showing them the true apex of each turn.

all I can say is wow. His only mod thus far is the Tien coilover kit. On stock allseason rubber, his car was really quite amazing. The coilover kit from Tien is far better than anything I've seen for an A4, and when he gets his wheels/tires, and his Cobb stage one kit and Cobb brakes, there will be no way in hell that my SC 2.8 with all the goodies will hold a candle to his ride on pure performance on a track. For the $$$ it is really an amazing car. I would really consider buying the STI for use as a track car in the future, but could not deal with the build quality as a daily driver.
