WTF, is Audi's goal to have the most bland line-up in the auto industry?!...

I just saw a picture of the next A8 in Popular Mechanics and you guessed it...surprise, surprise, surprise, it looks EXACTLY like the new A4 which of course looks like the A6!!!

I know. I am so glad I caught a 2001.5 with everything I wanted before the '02s start rolling in. For me, the performance isn't worth it; I'd rather have an original and good-loking car.

Drove by Prestige in Denver area a couple of days ago and they had a 2002 in the "denim blue-ish" color with California plates on it. It's just as thrilling in person as it is in pictures...Yawn! Initially, I thought it was a Passat.
There's nothing quite like being reaffirmed that you made the right choice on something, especially when it costs as much as the A4. I took delivery of my 2001.5 1.8T QMS a few weeks ago and ordered a 2001.5 1.8T Avant equivalently equipped to replace our Outback which is just about out of lease. Glad I didn't wait.
Actually, I think the worst part about the "new" A4 is not the exterior, which is bad enough, but the interior - Yuck!
