My local stereo shop ordered me the Blitzsafe Panasonic CD interface for the Panasonic 8 disc changer (I have a 2001.5 Bose). Can anyone comment on this one vs the P.I.E. adapter? Also the instructions say that it is for a 1998-1999 Concert headunit, but the shop looked in their manual and said that Blitz uses the same part # from 1998 to 2001...will I be OK to install this one (ie no harm to the changer or my headunit)?

I am relatively new at this Audi stuff, but how will you change the #7 and #8 cd's in the changer if the button selections on the main radio are only 1-6. If (a big IF) I am correct don't the preset radio buttons call up the individual discs? I am curious to know if this will work so when I do mine I will certainly do an 8 instead of a 6.

Easy...or so I am told! -->
You hit preset 5 twice this gets you disc 7 & preset 6 twice gets you disc 8. You can also fast forward from the end of disc 6 to 7 & the end of 7 to 8. The 8 disc will work fine & it costs less too!!! I will be installing mine this weekend (HOPEFULLY!)
