Alright, I have the 2001 Audi A4 1.8 T FWD. I am planning on replacing the stock headlight bulbs with some Xenon bulbs. My friend referred me to Midnightmoose.com for some H7 Xenon bulbs. There are some there with 80W and 4200k, while others are 60W with the same k and there is the 100W bulb with no specification of K. I need some help selecting a bulb which will give me the right brightness with the closest color to white/blue. Someone check that site out, and give me some feedback. If someone has a better idea of what to get or a specific bulb I should order for under 30 bucks...do tell. Thanks.

So are Xenon bulbs just a scam? or do they actually work? I need some REAL tips. Not "just get these, they dont really work, but whatever..." That's not helpfull. More like, "hey *******, get (insert brand/price here, these really work well!" or "don't waste your money."

yess they are brighter, but tend to burn out easier and are more dangerous for your wiring harness

Like ck1.8t said, there's no point it getting HID look-alike bulbs just get good halogen replacements like the SilverStars

So, are we all saying that Xenon-like bulbs are a waste of money. But for that price...its good?? or are we saying: don't waste your money...save up 300 bucks for some real HID's because they're safer and much brighter.
