i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. after a few month of driving my new A4 1.8t Avant with xenon, the left xenon failed every now and then. this problem began to happen more frequently but i could temporarily remedy it by flicking the light switch on and off a few times. each time i would flip the switch, the broken light would flicker on and then off. after a few times, it would eventually come on. i had the problem repaired. my dealer said it was a broken ignitor and from then on, everything was hunkey dorey until last night. i was driving my car home and the same light failed. i wondered if it was a result of my tinking with the display last week when i removed the orange inserts. i don't think this is the reason the light is failing because i did the operation about 5 days before the problem started. its not the same problem as before because the xenon doesn't even flicker when i flip the light switch. what the hell is happening to my precious xenon? has anyone else had this problem?
