Default XM Satellite Radio?

Can you still listen to your factory radio?

Is the install clean - pics??? is it wireless or require hooking into back of stock HU?

Do you need an external antenna?

How much should I pay for the unit and install? Any other costs besides the monthly subscription?

Also considering for a 323i, if anyone has any experience or pics ...

Default I installed XM in early January and haven't listened to AM/FM radio since.

but yes you can still listen to regular radio broadcasts. My install is flawless with the Blitzsafe adapter; it connects the receiver in the trunk directly into the CD changer cable...no need to remove the head unit. To listen to XM, I just push the CDC button on the HU. Set up like this, the install is cake and you shouldn't pay anyone to do it. External antenna is required to pull signal but you can put it inside on the rear hat shelf if you like. I'm fine with it on the trunk.

XM pictures

Default If you had one could you still use it?

Does the Biltz adapter have a pass through for the changer? I tried the FM modulator but it sounded like a$$.

Default no...

you'd have to put a switch adapter in between, and run the switch up into the cabin so you could select which signal the CDC button takes. It wouldn't be a huge deal, I know someone has done it to run an iPod and changer through that cable...I just don't have a desire for a changer so I haven't looked into it.
