Default Yellows... from VW/Audi...

I saw a 98 VW GTI VR6 Drivers Edition today and wondered how different Imola Yellow was from this. I like the DE Yellow more than the Brilliant Yellow but not quite as much as Fly Yellow from Ferrari... The VW DE Yellow is almost too cabby like... almost too harsh...
For those of you that saw the Imola Yellow S4 either at the NY Show, the dealer in Cali, or on the road as a manufacturers car, what did you think?
I saw an M3 in Dakar Yellow the other day... that is such a weak yellow... why is it so pastel? not sporty at all!
Just gettin' hyped about Imola Yellow,
RJ
'00 S4 (ordered in Imola Yellow of course!)

Ok, here is the deal.....the Corrado yellow is like the M3 and the bettle is the same.....the yellow GTI is a Ginster yellow and the the A4 is another type of yellow that I cannot remember now (grenn type), but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me ok?
Regads,
Oscar
Default Yellows...

Man there are so many ugly yellows out there these days. ESPECIALLY Dakar Yellow / Brilliant Yellow. Yeck. I do like the GTI yellow though, as well as the yellow I see on 7th generation mustangs (although I hate mustangs with a passion)
Porsche yellow is good too. Seen some NICE NSXs in yellow as well. But what do you expect out of $100k+ cars. I wouldn't expect anything less.
From what I've read, the Imola Yellow sounds to be quite nice. I have high hopes for it.
Marcus Frost
99.5 1.8TQM (F Status)

will the a4 be available in the same yellow at the s4, or does it keep the 'pastel kinda' yellow?

Default Both GTI DE and S4 look great in yellow...(link)

I agree that the Imola Yellow (S4) and the GTI DE yellows look great. They are relatively close in color.
I also hate the pastel yellow of the Beetle, Porche, etc.
Here's a link to my Yellow car page (which hasn't been updated in some time)

My Tribute To Yellow Autos

Default My Nugget Yellow Corrado

Depends on which year Corrado you're talking about. My '90 G60 was Nugget Yellow but if I remember correctly, in '91 or '92 they changed it and made it paler, giving it a different name in the process.
Andy Hedin

'97 A4 1.8Tqms, Wett 1.0 Bar, ABT Filter, Euro Headlights...
