Are you able to use the Audi-Sport Lowering springs with '96 stock NON sport shocks?

will not last as long under the stress of lower springs than new shocks would. I had about 8,000 miles on my NON-sport shocks when I installed my H&R sports. My shocks lasted about 10,000 miles before I had to replace them. I would HIGHLY recommend that you wait until you can afford both springs and shocks, because if you do only springs, then you'll be forced to replace the shocks within 6-8 months. This will either force you to do the work yourself TWICE (what I did, and not a small PITA) or you'll pay double for install.
