you guys heard of a Toyota Altezza? its a lexus IS200 but with a 4 pot engine and you get a 2l turbo

you guys heard of a Toyota Altezza? its a lexus IS200 but with a 4 pot engine and you get a 2l turbo
Its a japanese market only car but apart from the engine its identical to the lexus.
The Lexus racing is200 are actually altezza with lexus badges.
I am looking at one because its alot cheaper than the lexus and the 2 liter non turbo is alot more powerful than the v6 is200.

yup... welcome to 99! heehee... yeah, they are the same car. Identical.
except for minor packaging and what not, but the car is the same.
yeah, the 200 is supposed to be a cooler engine, but you know, not very LEXUS... atleast for the US market...

I read in CCC car an car conversion ( english tuners bible) that you could get an altezza with the
turbo engine like what was in the corrola rally car. possibly a japan only car they are awfully guilty of keeping the good stuff for themselves.

its not officially here either but you can import them or buy from a jap importer.
big business here theres alot of cars we dont get offically that you can get on import. not just jap cars lots of US ones too
