Whats with you all and the ball shaped *****!?!? I can't stand them and only a few look good (IMO). Is there any stick/teardrop shaped ones out there with some weight?

"stick *****" are better suited for "arm level" shifters such as those found in mr2, nsx, 360, etc.
"ball *****" are better suited for our cars with "leg level" shifters. (audi, civic, bmw, etc)

Too smooth. Not as much tactile grip as the stock ****.
I also hated how it got boiling hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter.
I also think it sticks out like a sore thumb in the A4 interior. Nothing else in the car has that design language. Sure, there are little chrome accents here and there, but nothing as strong looking as a big block of aluminum.
Just my 2 cents. Most people love 'em. Oh well.
