Default you K04 guys...what exhaust manifold are you using?
been trying to find one...some reason, i'm not seeing them.

I think most people are still using the stocker for the K04, but I know that there are others avail.

Stock. That's one of the benefits of the K04 kit, and it makes it affordable.

Hmm, i was told that stock really doesn't allow for proper breathing

Default doesn't really matter...not like the K04 is some high flowing turbo...
its just a *tad* better than the K03, so I wouldn't worry about it

Default Yeah- gotcha...so at the same time can you say that a larger manifold won't help?
or is it just not enough to worry about...or make a noticable difference.?

Default there's alot of specualtion on vwvortex.com that the ported manifold
is weakened so much that it tends to crack easily.

take this info with a grain of salt. it IS from vwvortex after all.
