Default "Audi Sport" All Weather Floor Mats question...

Anybody had a fitment problem with these mats on an '04 Avant 6-speed. I ordered some All Weather mats with the sport logo from ECS Tuning. None of the mats they sent fit, wrong spacing on the posts and wrong contour. I sent them back and they tell me that those were the correct ones from Audi. Is there something different about the manual transmission cars? Any idea what gives?

Default They should fit perfectly. Perhaps they've sent you B5 mats.

ECS is known for sending out wrong items.

Must have sent you the wrong mats. Mine fit perfectly in my '05 sedan.

Default My ECS saga....

Summary of Issues

Order placed on July 17th, received shipping confirmation with wrong address on July 23, address was listed as 8707 Fiordia Ave, should have been 8707 Florida Ave. I called to correct address, check the shipping info on-line the following day it had not been corrected. Called ECS and was told it was still incorrect in the system, order was then re-issued. Received new order confirmation on the 24th.

I received the kit on July 27th, began the install that weekend, fully disassembled both front brakes and drained the brake fluid. Began to bolt up the new caliper brackets and found out they were not the correct part.

Called ECS Monday, new brackets were sent out and received. Upon inspection it was apparent the brackets were not new. The brackets were beat up and covered in brake dust/dirt and the threads that receive the bolt attaching the carriers to the vehicle appeared to be damaged/crosse threaded. Pictures were taken and sent to Jason at ECS on Thursday. Contacted ECS on the following day new brackets were to be sent out that day Friday the 3rd.

Began to preassemble the calipers/pads/lines and noticed there was no hardware included to secure the pads in the caliper the crossbridge and spring clips were missing. Again contacted Jason at ECS, the missing parts were to be shipped ASAP. As of Monday August 6th the replacement brackets and missing caliper parts have not been shipped.

I finaly received all my parts to the "kit" today.

Unbelieveble.

They even had the gaul to "suggest" I order B5 parts....to cover their ***.

Only been posting in the audiworld B6 Forum for 5 years now....

what a pain.

Dont believe a word they say.

Default Most likely the case. My local Audi dealer parts guy gave me B5 mats. >

I had to return them for the proper ones.
The part numbers must be close.

Default Is there a chance ....

that you may have tried fitting the left mat to the right side and vice-versa? When I received my Audi rubber mats, that was exactly what I did before it quickly twigged that I was doing something silly.

Default No, the anchor spacings were way off, I had them on the correct side...

Both my front mats have spacings of ~13 7/8", the mats they sent had ~13 1/2"on the left and ~9 3/4" on the right. Both my rear mats have spacings of ~14 7/8", the rear mats they sent both had ~9 7/8".

Can someone with a B5 or B6 verify these anchor dimensions??

Default Mine fit, albeit weirdly, but they fit...

The anchors don't line up however, but the ones I have are for the B6 A4/S4
