Default Haha, thanks! The unit was $500 at Bestbuy...though you can find it online for a little

cheaper. Was at a Bestbuy looking and picked it up, been looking for a little bit.

Default Unfortunately, I haven't seen a hardwire kit for this unit nor the Garmin Nuvi I was looking at

because apparently, the power converts at the cigarette charger or something. Lower power input I believe...at least what I read on GPS forums. So there is no true hardwire kit. This is the only alternative I can think of. I know it'd be better to have a true hardwire but oh well.

Actually, not distracting at all. I thought it would be but its high up in the corner, the voice directions are loud enough and I just glance at it once in a while.

Default Yup, its the USB style plug. I actually re-did the wiring so it comes out from the top of

the headliner. I can mount the GPS upside down so the plug just plugs right in no more looping cable at the bottom.
