I tried hard and they didn't budge....
I ended up turning in my A4 in March. I talked to three different people at AFS and they flat out would not negotiate on the buyout. I asked around on AW and never found anyone who said they had seen them do it. It pained me to turn in the car, but it just didn't make sense to keep it at the buyout price.
