Default $%#@!#$ -- Not even 2 weeks old and already...

my f'ing windshield is pitted. On my short 5 mile drive to the train station today, a passing truck kicked up a hunk of metal which struck my windshield and left a 1" pitted (silver) scratch. Whats the deal with windshield replacements? Does insurance cover them? I read a posting about Glass insurance for $1 per month here in NJ with no deductable. Is that true?

The scratch was initially brown because the hunk of metal was apparently dirty and the impact pressed dirt into the windshield. I tried cleaning it out with a toothbrush, to no avail. So, I went to a local glass repair shop and they made it much better, than it was, but its still annoying. They used some type of glass compound.

Just had to vent to someone...

PS - I also got an invalid ticket for the meter running out of money. I put in enough for 10 hours of time, and I got a ticket at 2:30 pm (I put the money in at 7:30 am!) F me!

Default dude, on most meters, you can sit there all day and put in quarters, but once it hits that spots..m.

max allowable parking time for the spot, it just stays at that number (2:00)......do you know what i mean?

Default in MA, glass damage is covered under comprehensive ins...

MA and NJ are probably the two worst states for auto insurance - glass coverage is one of the few benefits associated with the exorbitant rates in MA.

good luck!
