Default Technically, the MTM is a 2" and 2.75" taking into the condiserarion the downpipe as you did with...

the Thermal. Remember the stage 2 does not include a downpipe.

Default If you are including the OEM DP as part of it.... But it still performs very well w/o it.

I was speaking purely of the aftermarket exhaust system though. I had the GHL and APR exhausts, as you know, and both had DP's. I found the MTM to be as good feeling with power, if not better, then the full 2.5" GHL w/ DP. APR was the weakest feeling with 2.5" --> 2.25" dia. pipes w/ DP. Once I have my MTM DP/CAT installed, I'm set That'll be plenty of high performance flow for me, w/o dealing with a test-pipe and emmissions problems. I want to pass smog test and keep pollution down as much as possible. From the info that Jet obtained on the CAT that MTM uses, it looks great.

Default I agree, I like the Ultra Sport kit and I will stick with that.

What the heck is "MTM"? I am gathering that it is a brand. Oh and about the sound, I honestly don't care. I want a sleeper. Coil Overs are a must, and I plan on upgrading to a T28. Any reccomendations on brands for the chip and CO's? Probably going to go Neuspeed on the swaybar, I had ALOT of oversteer tonight going into a tight s curve down by the queen mary, these Conti's need to go. I'll post the pic down by the Queen Mary in a sec.

BRANDS!!!

Default What is MTM?

Motoren-Technik-Mayer GmbH. I have their Stage 2 with exhaust. Search "MTM" and you'll find plenty.

And if you don't care about how loud the exhaust is, then I guess that only leaves performance and quality/fitment. My pick would still be MTM. But maybe you'll want Thermal. That seems to be the one for performance and a loud sound.

As to recommendations for chip and Coilovers; MTM (if my issue is resolved), AMS, REVO, Sportec,... for chips. And H&R, STaSIS, KW,... for Coilovers. Really up to you.
