*Ack* Need someone with a Bentley ASAP! Took ashtray out and now can't get it back in!!

All i did was remove cover around Tip shifter and took 2 screws out....ashtray kinda came out...but now won't slide back in!
Can anyone help? I'd like to finish this tonight!!

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/34761/ashtray.jpg"></center><p>..it ain't much, but from the instructions and pic it sounds like you were supposed to remove the auto tranny cover and lever, I'll post that procedure in a second:
Front ashtray, removing and installing
1 - Front ashtray
Removing
- For manual transmission: Lever out shift cover upward and remove shifter boot
- With automatic transmission: Lever out shift cover upward
- Remove two bolts -2- at ashtray.
- Remove ashtray -1-.
- Disengage trim -3- from ashtray -1-.
- Unclip storage compartment trim -4-.
2 - Bolts (2x)
- Tightening torque 5 Nm
3 - Ashtray trim
4 - Storage compartment trim

instructions seem to say how you can remove it, and you'd assume you could just reverse it to put it back in
i try to "slide" it back into place but it keeps hitting something...might be the foam insulation down in there i guess
think if i take it to a dealer tomorrow they can just pop it back in for me?
