Default 02 1.8 cyl 2 misfire?

i am working on a 02 1.8t that has a cyl 2 misfire? I swapped coils and no change, when the car is cold it runs perfect, then it starts to idle rough the check engine light comes on etc. I swapped plugs and it ran perfect, so thought great, then 1/2 mile down the road same cyl 2 misfire again? I havent' swapped injectors, but also I know the car is out of gas, it was on fumes and I put what I had in it and it at least now says I have 10 miles till empty, so wondering if this could have anything to do with it. before i added gas I got a Vag code for something like fuel below measurable value or something.

I don't think you helped yourself jschick by allowing the car to almost run on fumes . You may have sucked up a lot of crap into the injectors. I am personally a little surprised you doing this as I've seen many, many good posts from you . Enough said.

I think your next untried test by swapping the injectors is a good idea. Go for it and the best of luck to you .

I just bought the car and it was delivered totally empty! but I think it is a injector issue as I put some gas in it and it now comes and goes.
